Does this look familiar?  Do you think we've seen something like this slightly more than once on this trip?  Yep, that's what I think too.

So even though I did poke my nose in the Grand Bazaar of Istanbul, I didn't stay long.

Just took a picture or two.

Maybe it's bigger than the bazaar in Bursa, but it's no better.

I'll bet you can find gold, frankincense and myrrh here.  I just betcha.

I walked up the street and sat here in an outdoor cafe and sipped coffee and had a long talk with Mete.

And watched the people go by.

Now we're driving back to the hotel.  Tomorrow is the first day of Ramadan.  These guys have queued up for free food, according to Mete.

That's some sort of Roman marker.  The center of the Empire or something.  Somebody help me out here.

Traffic in Istanbul at this time of day is pretty awful.
