Excellent: time for lunch at the lovely Vogafjos Cowshed Cafe.
That's right, it's a cow shed.
People eat to the left; cows eat to the right.
Seriously, I'm not making this up.
See?
Bessie Ferdinandsdottir is being rude to the cafe's customers.
Tammy and Greg aren't deterred. They're ready to dig in.
So's everybody. It's been a long ride to lunch. Now let's see...what shall we order?
Geysir bread, of course! Actual fresh geysir bread that was baked in one of those underground volcanic steam ovens. Moist, chewy and good.
The goulash was delicious too.
The cafe is part of a farm operation and everything is fresh, even that delicious cheese.
Mmmm, raw, smoked lamb. And it was fresh!
Ooooh...fresh lamb shank.
And more fresh goulash.
And this was a special liqueur concocted fresh at the farm. Their own special recipe with fresh coriander seeds included at no extra charge. It was...interesting.
Oooohhhhh...geysir bread and goulash! This place served good stuff. And it was all seriously fresh!
The cows aren't too excited about it, though.
Moo.
