Ah.  Food.  This is the Antiga Confeitaria de Belem, where you can buy the world's best custard tarts (pasteis de nata).  The recipe has been kept so secret that once upon a time, only three people knew how to make them.  And since they needed strong arms to turn the crank of the mixer, they ran the crank shaft through the wall and yelled at the hired help when they were ready to mix a batch.  Nobody was going to see what they put in the custard tarts.  Lyn and Bill tried them, and you know what, they were pretty darn good.
