Today we're taking a ride to the North Shore of Oahu.

It's lunch time and we're going to have some Hawaiian Mexican food.  Yum.

Doug approves.

Now we're at Sunset Beach on the North Shore.

This place is famous for its gigantic waves and intrepid surfers.

The waves are big today, but not exactly gigantic.  The wind sure is blowing, though.

See how it has messed up Bill's hair?

An artsy picture.

The surf is rough and there are rip currents, so there are plenty of lifeguards.

Don't let that wind go to waste!

Bill was fascinated by the mountains created by ancient volcanoes.

They call that odd little island, "Chinaman's Hat."

Beautiful and spooky.  Bill kept insisting there really is a native village up there with a huge wall and a giant wooden gate and a big gorilla on the other side.

Another day of sightseeing comes to a close.
