Bill's excuse for making a trip to California was to attend the 50th anniversary reunion of people who have worked in what was once called the "Spacemobile" program but is now called the "Aerospace Education Services Project (AESP)."  The event was held as part of the 2011 National Science Teacher Association  national conference. Bill skipped all the professional development activities and the exhibits -- he was there just to see old friends.
